About Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a gentle modality that accesses the subconscious to shine a light on the blocks that can cause us emotional and physical pain and teaches us how to balance ourselves for a more fulfilling life.

We DO NOT diagnose; I write this in capitals as there is so much information on the internet that states otherwise. If you have certain symptoms and looking for a diagnosis, please book in to see your GP as soon as possible. Applied Kinesiologists look for a stress response in the muscle testing that then leads us to address areas to strengthen and balance ourselves as a whole.

Kinesiology follows the triad of health, demonstrated by an equilateral triangle. Each side of the triangle represents an area of our body and mind - chemical, emotional and energetic. When one side is out of balance, it disrupts the whole structure. The importance of looking at the body and mind as a whole is pivotal to our health and well-being. For example, if our muscles are constantly tight and sore, it is important to look at stress factors and not just the physical aspects.

Kinesiology is a stand-alone modality or a wonderful compliment to other healthcare systems. Do you find you get relief from a session with another modality, but the symptoms always seem to return?  This may mean there is an emotion or stressor that isn’t being addressed, which is why the body cannot hold the correction and/or recover.

Why may this be happening?  Because everything is connected – body, mind and spirit.

We are able to set a stronger foundation for health and wellness when we can energetically balance our emotional, chemical and structural parts of ourselves.

Kinesiology is suitable for most people - children and adults. It uses the biofeedback response from muscles to access the client's subconscious to help find the imbalances in the body and what is needed to correct them physically, mentally, emotionally, nutritionally and energetically.

Kinesiology can help with many issues. Over the years, clients have come to see me for a range of issues, including:
